Our Quest
How two founders embarked on a real-life journey to uncover their family's hidden stories, and discovered that AI could bridge the generational gap like never before
When We Realized We Were the Middle Generation
In 2021, Lisa and I found ourselves in a unique position. We were the middle generation - old enough to have heard our grandparents' stories firsthand, but young enough that our own children couldn't relate to them at all.
We had grown up listening to tales of the Great Depression, World War II, and the incredible changes of the 20th century. But when we tried to share these stories with our kids, their eyes would glaze over. "That was so long ago, Dad," they'd say. "It doesn't feel real to me."
We realized we were the last bridge between these incredible stories and the next generation. If we didn't find a way to make these stories come alive, they would be lost forever.
"We are the stories we tell ourselves. And the stories our ancestors tell us."

Then AI Changed Everything
In 2022, as AI technology exploded, we had an epiphany: what if we could use AI to bridge the generational gap?
Contextual Intelligence
AI that understands your birth year, location, and cultural background to generate personalized story prompts that unlock forgotten memories.
Voice Resurrection
Imagine your ancestors literally speaking to future generations through AI voice cloning, preserving not just stories, but the sound of their voices.
Visual Storytelling
AI-powered video avatars that can tell your stories with natural movements and expressions, making history feel alive and relatable.
The Breakthrough Moment
"What if we could make our grandparents' stories feel as real and engaging to our children as their favorite YouTube videos? What if we could preserve not just the words, but the voice, the personality, the essence of who they were?"
What We Found Changed Everything
As we dug deeper into our own family histories, we discovered stories that had been hidden for decades. My grandmother's secret recipe for the perfect apple pie wasn't just about cooking - it was about surviving the Depression by making something beautiful out of almost nothing.
Lisa's grandfather's war stories weren't just about battles - they were about the friendships that formed in foxholes, the letters from home that kept soldiers going, the small acts of kindness that defined humanity in the darkest times.
These weren't just historical facts. They were life lessons, wisdom, character, and values that our children desperately needed to understand. But they needed to hear them in a way that felt real and relevant to their world.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every family can preserve their stories in a way that future generations will actually want to hear them. Where AI doesn't replace human connection, but enhances it. Where the wisdom of the past becomes the foundation of the future.
The Problem We're Solving
- 65% of families lose important stories when grandparents pass away
- 3+ generations of wisdom lost in just one lifetime
- 89% of people wish they had asked elders more questions
- Stories feel irrelevant to younger generations
Our AI-Powered Solution
- Contextual AI prompts that unlock forgotten memories
- Voice cloning preserves personality and speech patterns
- Video avatars make stories engaging and relatable
- Family collaboration creates richer, deeper narratives
The Team Behind the Vision
We're not just building a product - we're on a mission to preserve the human stories that make us who we are.
